A Movement, Not a Moment

The convening launches your journey. Transformational Leadership Circles and the Fellows Program sustain it.

Transformational Leadership Circles

Circles bring together 6–10 leaders for monthly, confidential peer conversations about implementation. Groups are matched by institutional context, role, or priorities, with geography and time zones considered.

Meetings last 60–90 minutes. Members share challenges, test ideas, discuss evidence, and support follow-through on institutional plans. Groups may invite technology partners to contribute expertise when it serves the conversation.

Membership and Renewal

Your first year is included with convening registration. The published renewal options are attendance at another convening or a $500 annual fee. Contact us for current Circle placement and meeting arrangements.

AI Convergence Fellows

A Leadership Development Program for Emerging AI Champions

The planned AI Convergence Fellows Program is designed to support emerging leaders through mentorship, peer learning, and institutional project work. Application dates have not been published; contact us about current plans.

The program will provide mentorship, community, and structured development for a cohort of 15-20 Fellows over twelve months. Fellows will be matched with experienced mentors from the AI Convergence Advisory Board and broader community to investigate AI implementation challenges, develop institutional strategies, and contribute thought leadership to the field.

Why We're Launching This Program

Effectively addressing the AI challenges facing higher education requires developing leadership capacity beyond the C-suite. Many talented administrators, faculty leaders, and emerging executives are eager to drive AI transformation but lack the mentorship, frameworks, and peer community to do so effectively.

Planned Program Structure

The following describes the proposed program. Confirm current availability and terms with the organizers before making commitments.

Fellows commit to approximately 5-8 hours per month of engagement over twelve months, including:

  • Mentorship: Paired with experienced higher education leaders who provide guidance through monthly one-on-one conversations, project feedback, and career development support.
  • Cohort Learning: Monthly virtual sessions bring the full cohort together for workshops, case discussions, and peer learning.
  • Project Work: Each Fellow undertakes an AI implementation project at their institution, culminating in a documented case study shared with the community.
  • Convening Access: Fellows (and their implementation partner) receive 50% off registration to one convening during their fellowship year.
  • Community: A dedicated community space for ongoing dialogue with cohort and mentors.

Who We're Looking For

The program is designed for emerging leaders—associate deans, directors, department chairs, senior faculty, and rising administrators—who are positioned to influence AI strategy but haven't yet had the opportunity to lead institution-wide transformation.

You may be a good fit if you:

  • Hold a role with influence over curriculum, faculty development, student experience, operations, or technology strategy
  • Have institutional support to undertake an AI-related project during the fellowship year
  • Are motivated by improving higher education through thoughtful AI integration
  • Thrive in collaborative learning environments
  • Can commit 5-8 hours monthly to program activities

We particularly encourage applications from leaders at under-resourced institutions and from backgrounds underrepresented in higher education leadership.

How to Apply

Details about future Fellows opportunities will be shared as plans for the 2027 convening take shape. Questions? Contact us at info@aiconvergence.ai.

Contributing to the Field

AI Convergence exists to strengthen member institutions, but our impact extends beyond our community. We believe the challenges facing higher education are too urgent and too universal for solutions to remain siloed.

Following each convening, we develop and publish shared resources drawn from our collective work:

  • Anonymized case studies documenting what's working, what's failing, and what institutions are learning
  • Implementation frameworks that translate principles into actionable approaches
  • Governance templates for AI policy, faculty development, and institutional strategy
  • Research insights synthesizing evidence on AI in higher education

Visit the Miami 2026 Attendee Hub for materials from the inaugural convening. Attendee-only resources require sign-in.

From Pilots to Patterns

Every institutional experiment contributes to our collective understanding. When you share what's working—and what isn't—you help the community identify scalable models that can transform institutions beyond your own.

Your 90-day action plan isn't just for you; it's a data point in a larger effort to understand what AI transformation actually requires. The more honestly we share, the faster we all learn.
